I had an itch to go out railfanning, even though I wasn't sure how nice the weather would be. Although high flood water kept the Lafayette sub very inactive, I still got a few great finds.
0:00 - Nice! In the center of Dayton, a unit tank train rolls through with two AC6000CW convertible leaders and a D&RGW hopper! The funny thing is I started making an AC6000CW compilation a couple of days before, and this find was perfect for it! I also saw 7016 leading another tank train back in 2012.

3:13 - In Liberty, a slow Z-train with an ACe leader and an awesome horn crawls through town! The water was especially high on the Trinity river right up the line, forcing the train to stay slow. I also caught a couple of idiot drivers driving around the lowered crossing gates.
UP 8717 - SD70ACe
UP 7259 - AC44CW
7:09 - I drove to the Dayton yard to catch the stack train going faster. There was a waiting BNSF train with a sweet lashup, giving a nice train meet.
9:17 - After the stack train leaves, the BNSF freight starts up with a colorful lashup of an H1 BNSF, a Fakebonnet in the rare 4000 series, and an NS unit! Even better, BNSF 960 IS THE VERY FIRST BNSF DASH-9!!!!!!!!!!
BNSF 960 - C44-9W
BNSF 4703 - C44-9W
NS 9410 - C44-9W
11:47 - At the Beaumont sub in Eastgate, a large grain train rolls through with a nice AC4400CW lashup, though the units weren't in good shape. There were a couple of hidden gems on the train: 7009 is one of the few ex-GECX AC4400's, and 6702 was for a while numbered UP 9999!
